Hello! And a special hello to all my new followers!! Today’s post is a quick Sunday re-cap. A quick trip to Nordstrom earlier today (to make some returns) turned into quite a funny afternoon with my 3 year old, who told me “You should buy that!” about pretty much anything he saw! We both loved this dress, by A.L.C. that we saw on a mannequin!  These tan boots, by free people, that I tried on were pretty awesome too!! I loved the leather overlay. At the end, we came home with this adorable bunny. It may be the softest and cutest bunny ever for $20. The brand JellyCat makes the best stuffed animals, and ever since we bought one for my friend’s baby 2 years ago, my boys won’t stop talking about it! Oh, and I forgot to pick up a new lip gloss – these are my favorites by Fresh! Check them out, I’ll need to order online. So moisturizing and last forever!

Anyways, while you watch the Golden Globes tonight, you might want to check out the 90% off GILT sale! So many great finds!

Where do I begin? boots + fringe = awesome……….Our previous nanny and friend always rocked black fringe boots and leggings, and I have to tell you, she was SO adorable in that look! Inspired by her, instagram‘s Freshly Picked (baby moccasins) and my amazing board certified plastic surgeon friend (click here to find out more about her and like her FB page!), who wore kick ass fringe stiletto boots, to post a special “Boots with the Fringe” post!

Alright, so it’s cold, I mean seriously cold. Like 3 degrees cold! Getting out of the house in the morning is not exactly fun. So, here are my favorite, functional & stay warm must haves!

1. Fleece lined Finger-less gloves………..I know- why fingerless? Well, it’s just easier to do things with the finger-less option. Like your make up……….in the car (while parked ofcourse!) Like clipping a child in a car seat….

2. A good scarf. How about a nice warm rabbit loop scarf – check out this one on sale! Love this chunky black knit one too….and this patterned one.

3. Coats……..I wear a Classic North Face. I have been wearing mine for 5 years! It’s so warm. I get it dry cleaned at the end of the season and it’s good to go every year. I have heard Canada Goose is even warmer!!!! so check that brand out too! I really like their big hoods with fur!

4. Now, for boots – many choices here. I still swear by UGGs and really like this new pair…..I know Sorels are popular too and although I don’t love the look of the classic pair (when I have tried them on in the past), how cute is this pair?

5. Finally, you will need an adorable hat. I like ones that aren’t too tight and don’t ruin your hair! Like this one! Complete with a pompom! And I love this one – only $25 and free shipping! many colors too.
